Banks is already a multi-time Raw women's champion who has proved that she is capable of performing at the same level as Charlotte. The feud between Banks and Jax was given new life on the go-home episode of Raw prior to Fastlane when Jax and Charlotte defeated Banks and Raw women's champion Bayley in a facebook/" target="_blank">tagteam match. When Raw commissioner Stephanie McMahon heard that plan, however, she put Banks in a match against Jax instead. Jax looked to be setting up for the victory with Banks in position for a Samoan drop.

Sasha Banks came back from the depths of defeat to pull off an amazing comeback win on Nia Jax. Sasha managed to turn the action around long enough to lock in the Banks Statement, but Nia powered her way out and hit her signature leg drop. Nia Jax has always had the upper hand on Sasha Banks, namely due to the fact that she always attacks at the right time.
